A BUSY EARTH MONTH PART 1

April is Earth Month, and Earthwell is celebrating accordingly with a host of events that will features both on-site pop-ups and happenings around town! It all starts April 5th with a Bloom & Rooted Pop-Up at the store from 12-4pm. Felicia Goodwind will be here with plants and the knowledge to make them grow. April 12th is Kensington’s Earth Day celebration, across the street from the store on the Kensington Library lawn from 11am to 2pm. Earthwell will be partnering with Ocean Connectors (one of our Member Vendors) on a table at the event, come by and say hello!

A BUSY EARTH MONTH PART 2

There will a be a panel discussion on Sustainability, including Earthwell's Katrina, at the Chase Bank in North Park (3921 30th Street) starting at 5:30 on April 14th… the public is welcome! On April 17th we will be hosting a Green Drinks networking event just next door at Clem's Tap House from 6-8pm... the store will also be open during those hours for your shopping convenience.

A BUSY EARTH MONTH PART 3

April 19th will see us in Vista for our monthly North County market day from 10:30am to 2pm at Moringa for Life's location: 2210 East Vista Way, Suite 9. On Earth Day itself, April 22nd, we will have a table at the Qualcomm Earth Day Event, 5775 Morehouse Drive, from 11:30am to 1:30 pm. April 26th, features an in-store pop-up from 12-3pm with Spice Breeze, showcasing an amazing array of tasty spices from all over the world. Finally, we’ll wrap up a busy month on April 27th with a free Seed Swap at SDSU Mission Valley River Park near Snapdragon Stadium, 9449 Friars Road, from 10am to 1pm... just in time to get your garden growing for Summer.

NEW PRODUCTS

This month, Earthwell welcomes two new products to our store: ME Mother Earth’s Biodegradable Charcoal Dental Floss Picks and Amber Foaming Soap Dispenser. The floss picks feature the very popular ME Mother Earth Charcoal Floor we’ve always carried, but now in a convenient pick form. The pick itself is bamboo, and the floss is coated with vegan candelilla wax and features peppermint essential oil. The Amber Foaming Soap Dispenser is in response to our many customer requests for a glass foaming dispenser. This sturdy dispenser features a stainless steel top and a silicon base to protect the glass bottle.

If you haven’t become an Earthwell member yet, now’s the time! For a $25 yearly fee, you will get a host of benefits: an introductory package of goodies, a monthly coupon, a monthly Members’ Day with exclusive savings, 10% candle refill, and discounts from participating vendors such as MC Tailoring, Ocean Connectors Eco Tours, Paleo Treats, Wild Island Collective, and Home Start Thrift Boutique. We started this program last March, so it may be time to re-up your membership… just ask on your next visit. PARKING LOT… HALF OPEN!

The end of March has come and gone, and the construction continues. We are trying to get a firm update on a completion date and will communicated that as soon as we can. Until then, the lot is still half open. We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
